About Us
Watchman Payment Systems was founded in 2016 to solve a challenge that is very well known to everyone in the campus store industry, and to make that solution available to all colleges regardless of the store’s point-of-sale platform or their student information system. That challenge is to match students with their sources of financial assistance at the time of purchase, before classes start, and before that aid has been disbursed to students. Most often, Watchman’s automated solutions replace manual, homegrown workaround processes that are both error-prone and fundamentally insecure.
As the industry has evolved, Watchman has evolved with it, adding automated billing solutions for programs known as Inclusive Access and Equitable Access, as well as solutions that facilitate staff purchases through payroll deduction or department charges.
